TOOLS FOR FLEET MANAGERS

The Hybrid Experience Report offers Fleet Managers three valuable tools that will assist in the decision making process surrounding the purchase of an hybrid electric vehicle. 

Life Cycle Cost Tool - This tool, developed by the City of Vancouver, calculates the payback period of a hybrid vehicle. The user can customize the results by inputting different variables into the calculator. You must have MS Excel to use this tool. 

Cost Comparison Tool- This tool was developed by the BC Ministry of Management Services. It can be used by Fleet Managers as an example for comparing the costs of different vehicles. You must have MS Excel to use this tool.

Hybrid Savings Calculator - The calculator can be used to evaluate the financial and environmental benefits of owning a hybrid vehicle. The two calculators will help you to evaluate fuel savings, emission reductions as well as the cost of ownership of the vehicle.  You must have MS Excel to use this tool.
